The Designer and Manager have merged to one application!

Up until the coming version of SurveyToGo, you had to use 2 separate applications. One for designing the survey , the Survey Designer, and a different one, the Survey Manager , for managing operations, users, quotas etc…
With this new version of SurveyToGo these days are over. This version provides a single application called SurveyToGo “Studio” with a Customer / Projects based approach to your surveys and will allow you to both design and manage your survey in one application.
Some of the major feature of the new interface:
- Single interface for all your survey design and management needs
- Customer/Project centric survey management – easier organization of surveys.
- Tabbed approach – simultaneously work on multiple surveys, multiple operation consoles etc through the new “tabbed” windows.

Surveyor instructions
|
Need to give your field surveyors instructions on how to ask a specific question? You can use the new “Surveyor Instruction:” field to put these instruction and even control the color of how the instruction will be displayed. The instructions can also be seen in the “operations console” screen.

View/Review options in the field

You can now view a copy of a filled out interview on your PDA or Laptop /PC while you are out in the field, directly from the PDA or PC Surveyor interface:

A new and improved export process
|
The new and improved export process of SurveyToGo exports faster than before and now shows a progress bar

The new export also has the ability to export your questionnaire into MS-Word file.
While exporting interviews into MS-Word, you can now display also the answers that weren’t chosen, as well as see the attachments and comments for specific questions.

Operation console - Control the view order of the columns

You can now control the order, name and which columns appear at the operation console.

Search in survey
|
You can now perform a free-form search inside your questionnaire to locate a specific text in either questions, chapters, scales or the entire survey.

Search / jump to question while reviewing interviews
|
You can now search for data in a specific interviews by using the new search feature.
All you need to do is type your search and click on one of the arrows (“Find next/previous). You can also jump to a specific question by using the “Go to question” button.

Favorites
|
In the new SurveyToGo Studio interface, we have added “favorites” support to allow you to mark your most used screens as a favorite and come back to those screens at a later time with a click of a button. Any screen can be set as a favorite by using the new “favorite” icon on the toolbar!

Emulator – an option to jump into questions/ pages.

Using the emulator is now easier than ever! You can easily enter to a specific question/page, by using the new “goto” icons:

Unique device id number for each interview + an option to view all the current interviews on a specific device

Every interview now gets a unique id number while residing on the device to allow
you to track interviews even before uploading them to the server. In addition, the new SurveyToGo Studio interface enables you to know how many interviews are still in the field, ie, haven’t been uploaded yet.

Multi- Select questions – Save click order

Need to know in what order multi-select options were ticked? SurveyToGo now contains a new feature for multi-select questions which saves the order of the chosen answers:

Extended GPS support
|
The GPS supports new functions such as: Speed, Sea level altitude, Heading (the angle where you are pointing compared to the angle of True North), number of satellites & satellites in view.

New rules & script login functions
|
Many new logic functions allow you to interact with quotas, survey navigation, languages etc, directly from within a question start script or an expression.

Windows 7 (64bit) support

SurveyToGo Studio now officially adds supports for the 64bit version of Windows 7 in addition to supporting all flavors of Windows XP & Vista.
